Requiem by Night is a Collaborative Concept developed by the Original Owners of Pleasure Island (est. 2010-2019) and Danse Macabre (est. 2019-2024). 

 

Requiem by Night is an urban fantasy, cyber infused roleplaying sim within Second Life. We have taken our favorite classic urban fantasy race archetypes, made a spin on their origins and make up, and added elements to the world and magic with a cybernetic take to make this a dark world in constant tension. It is a roleplay where the questions of the natural world versus the unnatural come into regular play, where nature versus science is at the forefront of the mind, and where morality is shattered into a messy spectrum where everyone's a little bit of a villain and a little bit a hero. We all share a darkness inside us.
